We’re a few months into another new year, but many students at the University of North Texas know that we are not all here. We started off last new year in mourning for a friend to many, if not everyone, Sara. I have been struggling to sort and edit the many gigabytes of photos I have on my external hard drive, because a number of my favorites are actually from the last hike I ever took with Sara. It was a great day with many adventures and we discovered a lot of things neither of us had ever seen before. Of course, that means there are a lot of unique photos. However, whenever I look at them, I can’t help but remember that day, and subsequently, the new year.
Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this post and thank you again Sara for all the joy you brought to so many people.
